Derek W. Foret

Derek Foret is a partner and leader of the Audit + Assurance department at HTB, based in the firm's Baton Rouge office. Derek brings extensive experience serving clients across a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the construction industry. He provides guidance on accounting, financial reporting, and other business matters, helping organizations navigate challenges and pursue their long-term goals. In addition to his client service responsibilities, Derek plays a key role in staff development and training, leading continuing education initiatives and implementing technology solutions within the firm’s assurance service line.​
