Hannis Taylor Bourgeois, CPA begins his practice
Opens office on 4^th floor of the Roumain Building in downtown Baton Rouge.
Louis Bonnecaze, CPA, Hannis’ half-brother, joins the firm.

1936
1942

Growth
The firm moves from 4th floor to 6th floor of Roumain Building as business grew.
Lee Whatley is admitted as a Partner in the firm.

1967
1974

Hannis T. Bourgeois Retires
Louis Bonnecaze is named Managing Partner.

Randy Bonnecaze joins the firm as a Partner.

Firm consists of partners Louis Bonnecaze, Lee Whatley, and Randy Bonnecaze, accounting professionals Walter Paine and Mert Yonge, and two secretaries.
Industry Expansion
Joe Richard joins HTB, servicing financial institutions and banks in Louisiana.

Ronnie Stamper joins HTB, servicing construction companies in Louisiana.

Industry Expansion
Fernand “Ferdie” Genre joins HTB, servicing governemental entities in Louisiana.
Leadership & Further Expansion
Randy Bonnecaze is named Managing Partner of HTB.

HTB office moves from downtown Baton Rouge to its current office on Tremont Drive in Baton Rouge.

Industry Expansion
Steve Huggins joins HTB, servicing automotive dealers in Louisiana.
Monica Zumo is admitted as the first female partner of the firm.

1999

75th Anniversary
Firm consists of over fifty employees and two offices.

Monica Zumo is named Managing Partner of HTB.

HTB practice expands with a second office in New Orleans, LA.
