Hannis T. Bourgeois Opens The 1924 Fund Grant Applications to Louisiana Nonprofits
BATON ROUGE – August 15, 2025 – Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP (“HTB”), Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors, officially announces the opening of grant applications for The 1924 Fund, a philanthropic initiative supporting local nonprofits in the communities where HTB operates, including Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Denham Springs, Hammond, and New Orleans. Named in honor of the firm’s founding year, The 1924 Fund reflects HTB’s long-standing commitment to community impact and service.
Through the Fund, HTB will award annual grants to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations that are making a measurable difference in three core areas: education, culture, and family resilience. The firm is now accepting applications starting August 15 through September 30 for the inaugural round of funding, which will be awarded later this year.
“The 1924 Fund represents more than just a financial commitment; it is a reflection of who we are as a firm,” says Managing Partner Jay Montalbano. “By investing in education, culture, and family resilience, we are helping to strengthen the very foundations of the communities we proudly serve across the state.”

HTB encourages organizations of all sizes and missions to apply, especially those serving underserved populations in Louisiana.
