Hannis T. Bourgeois Opens The 1924 Fund Grant Applications to Louisiana Nonprofits
BATON ROUGE – August 19, 2026 – Hannis T. Bourgeois, LLP (“HTB”), Certified Public Accountants and Business Advisors is pleased to announce the opening of grant applications for The 1924 Fund, a philanthropic initiative supporting local nonprofits in the communities where HTB operates, including Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Hammond, and New Orleans. Named in honor of the firm’s founding year, The 1924 Fund reflects HTB’s long-standing commitment to community impact and service.
After a successful inaugural year that provided $15,000 in grant funding to local nonprofits, HTB looks forward to supporting even more organizations making a lasting difference in the communities it serves.
Through The 1924 Fund, HTB awards annual grants to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations that advance one or more of the fund’s three core philanthropic focus areas: education, culture, and family resilience. Applications for the 2026 grant cycle will be accepted August 19 through September 30, 2026, with grant recipients to be announced later this year.
“The success of our inaugural grant cycle reinforced the incredible work being done by nonprofit organizations across Louisiana,” said Jay Montalbano, Managing Partner of HTB. “We were honored to support organizations making a meaningful difference in their communities, and we look forward to expanding that impact through this year’s grant cycle.”
Eligible 501(c)(3) organizations serving Greater Baton Rouge, Central Louisiana, the Northshore, and Greater New Orleans interested in applying can visit htbcpa.com/1924-fund to review eligibility criteria and submit their applications.
