HTB Professionals Recognized by LCPA for Leadership and Professional Excellence

HTB is proud to celebrate two team members who were recently recognized by the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) for their outstanding contributions to the accounting profession and their communities.

During LCPA’s annual awards presentations in August 2026, Chase Ruiz, CPA, and Elizabeth “Liz” Hampton, CPA, were honored among accounting professionals from across the state for their leadership, service, and commitment to excellence.

Chase Ruiz, CPA, Tax Partner, was named a recipient of LCPA’s Rising Star Award. The award recognizes CPA members age 40 and under who demonstrate outstanding leadership and active engagement within the profession and their communities.

Elizabeth “Liz” Hampton, CPA, Tax Associate Partner, received the Woman to Watch Emerging Leader Award. This award honors professionals who, early in their careers, have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made meaningful contributions to the accounting profession and their communities.

Chase and Liz exemplify the leadership, professionalism, and dedication that define HTB. Their recognition by the LCPA is a testament to the impact they make within the firm and throughout the accounting profession.
